Jordan Weber’s Water Curia

Jordan Weber is a New York-based regenerative land sculptor and activist who works at the intersection of social justice and environmental apartheid through grassroots arts collaboration in industrially polluted neighborhoods such as Detroit, St. Louis, Minneapolis, New York, Boston, and Des Moines.

Most recently, Weber has been included in the 2023 Venice Biennale of Architecture and appointed as the inaugural Yale University artist in residence for environmental humanities through the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.

Honors include the 2023 Guggenheim Award, 2022 United States Artist Award, 2021 Harvard LOEB Fellow, 2020 Joan Mitchell Award, and 2019 Creative Capital Award.

    The WSMF works to provide meaningful curriculum to area teachers, such as lesson plans about the natural water filtration process.
